Processes: Need to Know for Improving Future Manufacturing Workflow

Processes are essential to achieve proper functioning of the part, ease of assembly, durability, and physical appearance.

Different processes are extracted and used by Werk24 in several ways. It's possible to determine the number of methods that need to be applied or categorize the components that can be grouped to optimize the utilization of the machines.

Ignoring process information may increase the complexity of future manufacturing processes, which wastes a large amount of time.

Processes can be broadly divided into main groups based on their objectives. One method, for instance, concentrates on creating an initial shape from shapeless materials, whereas another method aims to modify existing forms.

The manufacturing process starts with adding input materials, which can be defined based on specific processes, to the production line. For instance, cold rolled steel is a steel that has been made through the cold rolling process is required. After adding the input materials, the processes can be divided into two groups: main processes and post-processes (or post-treatments).

The Post-Proccessing (Post-Treatment) Steps

The AI identifies post-processing method with the desired outcome, and places the output in the post-processing tree.

Werk24 does not differentiate between these process steps as a post-processes. It is dependent on the companies. Werk24 can only categorize them as processes.
