Use case

Rebrand and anonymize technical drawings — at scale.

Standardize supplier drawings into your own template. Replace logos, update title-block fields, flag sensitive content, and preserve revision history — without redrawing files from scratch.

Why manual rebranding drains engineering capacity

Supplier drawings arrive with inconsistent branding, varying title-block layouts, and sometimes confidential information that must not reach downstream teams. Today, engineers rebrand these manually — editing PDFs in Illustrator or Bluebeam, swapping logos, retyping metadata, and praying nothing technical gets altered. It takes hours per drawing set and introduces risk every time a human touches PMI.

What it does — automated, auditable rebranding

  • Logo & branding swap — detect supplier logos and replace with your corporate identity.
  • Title-block standardization — normalize metadata fields to match your quality template.
  • Sensitive content redaction — flag confidential notes, pricing, or supplier references for removal.
  • PMI preservation — keep all technical content (dimensions, tolerances, GD&T) intact and verifiable.

Every change is logged with before/after evidence. Approve suggested replacements before export.

How it works

Define your template, connect your inbox, and let Werk24 handle the rest.

  1. Define your branding template You

Specify your logo, title-block layout, metadata fields, and redaction policies. Provide 20 sample drawings for quality assurance.

  2. Configure detection rules Werk24

Werk24 learns to detect supplier logos, title-block patterns, and sensitive content markers. Rules are configurable per supplier or document class.

  3. Process & review Configurable

Drawings are processed automatically. High-confidence replacements proceed directly; edge cases route to a review queue with before/after previews.

  4. Export & distribute You

Approve results and export branded PDFs. Pass structured metadata downstream to ERP/MES or archive in your PLM.

Outcomes

Consistent branding, protected content, full traceability.

  • Hours saved per drawing set

Automated detection and replacement eliminate manual Illustrator or Bluebeam edits.

  • Zero PMI alterations

Technical content stays intact — dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T are never touched.

  • Consistent corporate identity

Every outgoing drawing follows your template, regardless of supplier format.

  • Auditable change trail

Every replacement is logged with evidence. Compliance teams can verify what changed and why.

Metrics that matter

Demonstrate time savings and risk reduction vs. manual rebranding.

  • Time per drawing set: Processing time from ingest to branded PDF.
  • Manual touch rate: % of drawings requiring human review.
  • PMI integrity: Verification that technical content is unchanged.
  • Redaction coverage: % of sensitive content correctly flagged and removed.

FAQ

Can we handle multiple supplier formats?

Yes. Werk24 detects logos and title-block layouts automatically, so you do not need to configure rules per supplier. For edge cases, you can add supplier-specific detection rules.

What about scanned drawings?

Werk24 reads scans at 200+ dpi. Logo detection and title-block parsing work on scanned documents, though clean digital PDFs produce higher confidence.

Is there a risk of altering PMI?

No. Branding and metadata replacements operate in designated zones (logos, title blocks, notes). Dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T are detected and explicitly preserved.

Can we preview changes before export?

Yes. A review queue shows before/after views with highlighted changes. You approve or adjust before the final PDF is generated.
