Saphirion, a leading provider of NLPP tools, faced a significant challenge in its operations. The utilization of their NLPP tool was dependent upon their customer’s data availability. From their experience with hundreds of NLPP analysis, it was clear that the data collection step is an unsolved problem for every customer and slows down NLPP adoption. Hence, Saphirion presented Werk24 with a specific challenge: How to quickly collect data from customers' technical drawings to obtain product manufacturing information?
Before integrating the Werk24 solution, Saphirion provided some solutions to address this challenge. Saphirion set up a small team to extract data manually, which works great for a few hundred drawings but not for thousands. In addition, there were several other aspects to consider; not only is it significant doing the data collection but also getting access to the data and knowing where to look for it. Because the operation model can quickly become complicated, while the overall business value is low Saphirion decided to refrain from entering this business.
Consequently, Saphirion sought an innovative solution and partnered with Werk24. Saphirion picked Werk24 as their data extraction provider because their NLPP process benefits most from an automated service.
